Welcome to Fostering Forward Michigan — Michigan’s statewide coalition of foster, adoptive, and kinship families.

We are a community of caregivers working together to create better outcomes for the children and families involved in foster care, adoption, and kinship care across the state of Michigan. Through advocacy, support, education, and connection, we strive to strengthen families and help caregivers feel seen, equipped, and supported.

Our team is made up of experienced foster, adoptive, and kinship parents who understand the realities of the journey firsthand. Whether a family needs guidance, encouragement, resources, or someone to stand alongside them during difficult seasons, we are here to help.
